Finalists complete the Screenwriting Intensive, where they work with a professional screenwriter and film development executive to revise their scripts.

Writing

Then the finalists meet with approximately ten different Industry Mentors, made up of screenwriters and directors, producers, studio and network executives, managers, and agents.

Each Mentor agrees to read one script and meet one-on-one with the student screenwriter who wrote it. During these meetings the conversations are wide-ranging and informative. Discussing the script itself usually becomes a starting point for an exploration of writing, school, the entertainment industry, and other applicable topics.
